Acro Groups clarification

(to see the image in larger format click on the picture)
Here are the groups again.  There was a question as to what the numbers beside the names meant.  The number was their age not the number of training hours.  The number of training hours is indicated at the top as either 4, 6 or 8 hours.  My apologies for the misunderstanding.

Quidam in Hamilton

The OGC Acrobatic Gymnastics Provincial team was invited to go to a training session with Cirque du Soleil as it travels through Hamilton this week.  The Banquine act is a classic acrobatic gymnastics performance with some of the most impressive acro being performed in CDS shows around the globe.  Quidam will be playing in Hamilton for the weekend.  Go check it out.
A big thanks to CDS for making this possible and a big thanks to the coach, Victor Major and the cast of artists who were so welcoming.  Great experience.  Great inspiration!

Acrobatic Gymnastics Spring Gala Highlight Video

Here is a highlights video of the Gymnastics Ontario Acrobatic Gymnastic Spring Gala performance.  Thanks to Patrick Photographic for making this happen.

Acrobatic Gymnastics Spring Gala 3

The OGC Provincial Acro group put together a Banquine style act of their own to Thriller.  Zombies everywhere courtesy of Karen Dance Body and Face Painting.  Possibly a little too scary for some of our younger audience members.

More pics.  Sorry I'm so late getting these up here.  You can also find them on Facebook.

Acrobatic Gymnastics Spring Gala

The OGC hosted the Gymnastics Ontario Spring Acrobatic Gymnastics Gala performance on May 17th.  The OGC's athletes dominated the evening's show with the acro, tumbling and woman's programs providing highlights to the spectacle.  We had guest performances by the Tyo Brothers from Ottawa.

Excellent show overall.
