Easter Training Gym Closure

Yes, there are acrobatic gymnastics classes today, Easter Sunday.

For those classes that go past or start past 5:00pm the gym will be closed.  We use the regular procedure of entering and exiting via the sliding glass doors at the front of the club.  If you have an emergency or you arrive late please bang on the back doors to get in.

Happy Easter.

There is NO TRAINING on Easter Monday.

2nd Ontario Cup Photos post

Here are my choices for best photos from each of the OGC groups (that I have photos of, I missed some, my apologies) from the 2nd Ontario Cup.  I chose them because they either show great acro or great artistic expression.  I'm really pleased with how the OGC Acrobatic Gymnastics program is really starting to look like a group of performers.

Sophie, Brenna and Anna give us their biggest smiles.

The serious concentration faces of Avery and Ben.

Elizabeth, Claire and Mackenzie strike a pose.

Snapping to the beat are Katie, Emma and Ally.

Erin and Ricardo showing full extension in their lift.

Giving the judges the eye are Alexandra and Isabella.

Some serious acro from Jamie and Cory.

These girls know how to sell a routine: Kelsey, Isabel and Ioana

Making it look like fun are Marie, Natalie and Kiana

Full balance and full control demonstrated by Tessa and Jack.

Day 2 of the Acro Training Camp March 24th

Here are some pictures from the second day of the March Acrobatic Gymnastics Training Camp.
It was the second day for the Level 7 and Age Group athletes and day 1 for the Level 5 and 6 acrobats.  We started off the training camp for them with a social event at Playdium in Mississauga.  Everyone got to play for a bit.  Looks like everyone had fun.

Julia and Teanna tearing up the track.

Anna learning how to drive.

After Playdium everyone returned to the Oakville Gymnastics Club for 5 hours of acro training.
